After training at the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting, Selma Blair began acting in a few small roles during the early 1990s. She starred in the film Crul Intentions (1999), opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar and Reese Witherspoon, and won the "Best Kiss" category at the MTV Movie Awards with co-star Gellar.
